#1 Drink water throughout the day.
By drinking water before, during, and after your meal, you will not only stay hydrated, but also help support your dental health.
#2 Eat dessert with your meal.
No seriously – The American Dental Association recommends that you eat your sugary foods alongside your meals because your mouth creates more saliva while eating a meal.
So, by eating the sugary foods with your meal, you reduce the effects of acid production.
#3 Brush and floss after each meal.
If you are having multiple “feasts” throughout the day, be sure to brush and floss after each meal. Doing so will help clear away debris that can cause build-up on your teeth.
